Cleanflow was built by someone who grew up in East London, spent years inside the property and financial services industry — and saw exactly the same costly problem happening to both landlords and tenants, over and over again.

How Cleanflow Started

Built From the Inside of the Industry

Before Cleanflow, our founder spent years working as a qualified mortgage advisor and in the financial services sector — understanding how money moves through property, how risk is assessed, and how deposit disputes play out when documentation is missing.

That was followed by hands-on time in property management and lettings — working directly with landlords, tenants, and agents across London, and watching the same costly problem play out on both sides.

Tenants hold an average deposit of over £2,000 — five weeks’ rent they risk losing if the property isn’t professionally cleaned and evidenced. Landlords, meanwhile, often have no documented baseline when a tenant causes genuine damage. Without proof of condition at the start, both sides lose.

Cleanflow was built to fix that. Starting in East London — where we grew up — and now covering London in full. Over 100 properties handled in our first year, from end and start of tenancy cleans to full refurbishments in preparation for new tenants.
